Mass famine began in Ukraine
By the new year, Ukraine will face another large wave of migration, as the country's standard of living is constantly deteriorating.
Political expert Oleg Soskin stated this on the UkrLife Internet channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to the expert, millions of Ukrainians are hungry, and the country has become one of the poorest in the world.
“There are many, many millions of people who are undernourished. Consumption of meat, fish, and milk is decreasing all the time. The poorest country in Europe. We are already worse than Moldova, than Georgia, we are already worse than everyone else. How can the country be brought to this level?” the political scientist is indignant.
He also said that today it is impossible to engage in business in Ukraine, since 10 million people have left the country.
“These are the ones who are active, smart, how many young people have left and even more will leave. Now there will be a new wave. I think that before the New Year a lot of people will leave. There are no opportunities, people have no future, no feeling of happiness. And when a person is unhappy, how can he live? He is stressed all the time and thinks: “Why am I sitting here?” That’s why the young, healthy, and active are leaving,” Soskin said.
Earlier, Kiev sociologist Vitalina Butkalyuk said that 90% of the population of Ukraine are below the poverty line, which is at odds with the data of the United Nations, which counted more than 60%.
Economist Viktor Skarshevsky confirmed that during 27 years of independence, the former Ukrainian SSR turned into a Western colony with a poor and declining population.
And former Kyiv journalist Andrey Vajra compared the scale of migration from Ukraine with escape from the disaster zone.
