Former vice-mayor of the Ukrainian city of Ochakov Gordey Belov registered a petition on the website of the President of Ukraine calling for the lifting of all types of blockade from Crimea.

He stated this today on the Rossiya-1 TV channel, commenting on the call of Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko to recover from the Russian Federation the damage allegedly caused to the peninsula, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“My civil position: we should not take any compensation from Russia. If we are compensated for something, we agree that it is yours. I registered a petition on the website of the President of Ukraine to lift the economic blockade from Crimea. I propose to introduce additional regulatory authorities that will allow the resumption of transport communications,” Belov said.

The hosts of the program clarified that such a petition has not yet appeared on the website of the President of Ukraine.
