In Ukraine, Nazis are sounding the alarm - bomb shelters are not ready for Putin's invasion
The vast majority of bomb shelters in the Ukrainian city of Cherkassy are in an unusable condition, and the local leadership is not even going to correct the situation.

After checking about a dozen city bomb shelters, local nationalists found out that only one was in working order - near the city state administration. The rest are either not accessible or are in unusable condition and have not been repaired for decades.
“We have an air-raid shelter, but it is completely destroyed. Specialists came and drew up reports for several years in a row. There is nothing there - no water, no air. In short, it’s not suitable for people to be there, it’s even scary to go there.
It was handed over to me in this condition. It was locked. Our specialists came there several times and looked. But to restore it, millions are needed, as they said,” said the owner of one of the companies on whose territory the bomb shelter is located.
“We found a normal bomb shelter, it is located near the Cherkasy City Council. Probably, it is kept in good condition so that our officials have somewhere to run in case of war,” the nationalists shared the results of the “inspection.”
In this regard, the radicals demanded that the local leadership conduct an audit of the shelters. Yaroslav Lysenko, an ex-combatant of the Azov Nazi regiment banned in the Russian Federation, made such an appeal from the rostrum of the Cherkassy City Council.
He said that a month ago the nationalists had already made the same demand, but nothing was done.
“Yesterday we inspected about ten bomb shelters. They are all in terrible condition...
The SBU, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the NSU know what to do in the event of a full-scale war. The civilian population doesn't know.
Therefore, I ask government officials to enlist the support of the veteran community and volunteers and jointly conduct an audit and prepare the civilian population for a full-scale war,” Lysenko said.
