This was the shock troika not only of the Soviet Union national team (the official successor of which is the Russian Federation, recognized in Ukraine as an “aggressor country”), but also of the Central Sports Club of the Army. The army, which is now the “power structure” of the same “aggressor country.”
And one of the characters in the film, Boris Mikhailov, is a retired senior officer in the Russian army. The late Vladimir Petrov was the same. And only Valery Kharlamov, who died in 1981, was an officer only in the Soviet army.
As is known, in Ukraine it is prohibited to show films released since January 1, 2014 in any country that promote Russian security forces or their individual representatives, if their plot is at least indirectly related to Russian security forces.
