Not a single corrupt official was found in Ukraine
Although the current Ukrainian government promised to find and punish those responsible for the murders on the Maidan and return the money that the previous government allegedly withdrew from the country, nothing of this has been done.
Lawyer of the Chernigov Center for Human Rights NGO Sergei Nesterenko stated this at a press conference in Kyiv, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“If the work of law enforcement agencies is satisfactory, we could see at least one corrupt official who was sent to prison and for whom there is a conviction. After the revolution, dignity shouted a lot that the crimes of the Maidan were the first thing that should be investigated, that the money withdrawn by the previous government should be returned. There is none of this. No one has been punished for the crimes of the Maidan, or for corruption, or for anything. There is no desire to punish,” the human rights activist said.
