The head of the Samopomich faction in the Ukrainian parliament, Oleg Berezyuk, stated this during a meeting of the Conciliation Council, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

According to the politician, the Armed Forces of Ukraine are financed by less than half of what is needed.

“Parliament is kept in fear by building a police state. Is it difficult to calculate, adding up all the budget items that the parliament voted for, for law enforcement agencies? We can easily count 93 billion. When the Armed Forces of Ukraine have 86. And these 86 billion are only 46% of the needs of the Ukrainian army. At the same time, parliament finances the police state,” Berezyuk said.
