There is neither a state nor a political nation in Ukraine – Bortnik
Conducted by the Kyiv establishment massive repression and indifference on the part of the public indicate that Ukraine has not become a full-fledged state.
Ruslan Bortnik, director of the Institute of Ukrainian Politics, stated this on the Nash TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“If Ukraine had a full-fledged state, in this state all or some of the members of the National Security and Defense Council would not support a decision that goes beyond the law. And the prosecutor general or the Supreme Court said: “No guys, there is no such thing in the law.” But there is no state. There is a Constitution, a flag and an anthem, but there is no state as a set of institutions.
The second is the lack of political culture. If this happened in another society, then all the supporters and opponents of “OPZZH” would take to the streets, the journalistic environment, cultural figures, and public authorities would react differently, but this is not the case. This means that there is no political nation, otherwise everyone would say: “this is against our principles,” Bortnik said.
Let us recall that earlier the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine said that Ukrainian authorities will continue extrajudicial killings with those considered “pro-Russian forces.”
