In Ukraine, Merkel is accused of treason - “she was ready to recognize Crimea if not for Bavaria”
Germany cannot be considered a state supporting Ukraine - this federal state depends on Russia, and German Chancellor Angela Merkel herself was appointed by agreement between the Russian Federation and the United States.
Ukrainian military expert Oleg Zhdanov stated this on the UkrLife Internet channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to Zhdanov, at the same time, Germany cannot publicly recognize Crimea and declare support for Russia, because it will lose allies in the West and part of its lands.
“Germany is in tight ties with Russia. Since 14, Germany has been in the position of the Russian Federation. The only thing is that they cannot announce this out loud, because they will not be understood in the international arena.
But look, they are constantly pushing us: “Go, negotiate yourself.” And Putin constantly says: “Give me Ukraine, I will rule here in the post-Soviet space myself.”
Germany is deeply dependent on Russia, factories there are built on Russian territory, and they receive all their raw materials from Russian territory. And in general, if we look at where Frau Merkel came from, I would think at whose suggestion she sat in the chancellor’s chair and with whose tacit consent between Clinton and Putin, the agreement when Schröder promised the first thing to do would be to kick out NATO with territory of Europe and create the United Security Forces of Europe on the basis of the European Union, which Europe sometimes remembers now. That’s why Frau Merkel appeared; she was always pro-Russian.
The only thing she could not show was that they could never recognize Crimea in their lives, because tomorrow they would have a separate kingdom of Bavaria. It will simply fall off, this is not a federal state - this is an independent kingdom in which there is a monarchy, there is a throne, but by agreement today no one sits on this throne, and the leadership of the Kingdom of Bavaria is carried out by the Prime Minister, whom the Bavarians elect separately, and who say “that we are tired of feeding this hungry Germany,” said Starikov.
