Professor Vladimir Kazarin, who fled from Crimea to Kyiv and headed the Tauride National University, an alternative to Crimea, expects the peninsula to return to Ukrainian control in 2018.

It turns out that these people are not so stubborn and incapable of retreat. This means that there is always some price for which they will make all sorts of concessions, saving themselves, their environment, or something else. I think, according to my concepts, this is a question, I think that in the main volume this is a question of the 18th year,” Kazarin said.
