Business partner of Biden Jr. put on wanted list in Ukraine
Former Minister of Natural Resources of Ukraine, one of the owners of the scandalous company Burisma and business partner of the son of former US Vice President Hunter Biden, Nikolai Zlochevsky, has been put on the wanted list, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
This was stated by the Prosecutor General of Ukraine Ruslan Ryaboshapka at a briefing on the termination of the pre-trial investigation function by the prosecutor's office, the press service of the Prosecutor General's Office reports.
Answering the question whether Zlochevsky was put on the wanted list, Ryaboshapka replied: “Yes, that’s why the case was stopped.”
According to the Prosecutor General, the proceedings in the case regarding the Burisma company have been stopped, and it is not moving anywhere. The suspicion has been expanded and a qualification has been added - theft of public funds on an especially large scale.
Former Minister of Natural Resources of Ukraine Nikolai Zlochevsky appears in 13 criminal proceedings. Earlier today, as PolitNavigator reported, at a press conference in Kyiv, people's deputies Alexander Dubinsky and Andrey Derkach reported facts of involvement of the top of the US Democratic Party in corruption schemes in Ukraine. In particular, the names of Biden and Zlochevsky, as well as the case of the Burisma company, were mentioned in this regard.
