Two power plants have been shut down in Ukraine. Rolling blackouts begin
In Ukraine, as a result of the blockade of Donbass and the cessation of coal supplies, two power plants were stopped due to fuel shortages, said the head of the Independent Confederation of Miners' Trade Unions, Mikhail Volynets.

“Today, Trypilska Thermal Power Plant (1565 employees) and Pridneprovska Thermal Power Plant (1134 employees) stopped their work due to the saving of anthracite coal. During downtime, workers will receive 2/3 of their wages, some will be sent on vacation at their own expense. The question remains: for how long were the thermal power plants stopped?
Of course, this will cause rolling blackouts, primarily for villages and regional centers. These facts will be hushed up and hidden. Unfortunately, this is a natural result of the authorities’ inaction to solve problems in the coal industry,” Volynets wrote in his blog.
