The state concern Ukroboronprom, which unites Ukrainian military-industrial complex enterprises, stated that it strictly adheres to the embargo on the supply of components for weapons and military equipment by Ukrainian enterprises to their traditional customers in Russia.

“Military-technical cooperation with Russia has been stopped by Ukroboronprom since 2014, immediately after the start of hostilities in the East of the country. Any exchange of technology, experience or production cooperation is reduced to nothing. At the same time, a large-scale program of import substitution of Russian components was launched. In particular, more than 11 thousand products were developed within its framework,” the statement says.
Ukroboronprom did not specify what losses Ukrainian enterprises have already suffered and will suffer in the future from such a step, how many jobs have been lost and how many factories will be closed.
