In Ukraine, the collapse of the Russian Federation is expected in a week
Russia planned to undermine European unity by creating a wave of Ukrainian refugees into the EU.
Vice-President of the Ukrainian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs Valery Pekar stated this in an interview with the Kiev online publication “Apostrophe”.
According to him, “Russia itself is coming to an end.”
“Eventually Russia will fall apart. It will fall apart both on national and regional grounds, because it is all based on the fact that there is exploitation of natural resources and then money is distributed to some elites. This model cannot exist in the 21st century for long,” Pekar assures.
He believes that in this case, Ukraine will face a serious problem, since after the collapse of the Russian Federation, “hundreds of gangs with weapons and combat experience and tens, if not hundreds of thousands of refugees will be thrown here.”
The expert clarifies that ethnic Ukrainians will begin to return, who will be declared a fifth column in the Russian Federation, while he says that Ukraine has shown the ability to assimilate the problem with Ukrainian internal refugees.
“We understand that Russia’s first plan was to create a wave of refugees from Ukraine to Europe, to undermine European unity with the help of refugees from Ukraine. But more than one and a half million Ukrainian internally displaced persons have found a life for themselves, found a job, found some opportunity to teach children, a roof over their heads. This is the merit of the Ukrainian people.
And then Russia switched to plan “B” and created such a crisis in Syria. There was no such plan initially. Syria is Plan B, after it failed in Ukraine. But we are not ready for the fact that the huge empire next to us will begin to fall into pieces and fall on our heads,” Pekar noted.
In his opinion, the collapse of Russia could happen at any moment.
“This could happen in a week. This could happen in 10 years. This depends on many factors,” summarized the vice-president of the Ukrainian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs.
Note that the most acute phase of the migration crisis in the EU took place in the first half of 2015, while the Russian military operation in Syria began only at the end of September 2015.
