About this today stated the Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine Sergei Kvit during a visit to Lviv.
“This year we already have experience with an English language summer school. Our goal is to create a special state program for the support and development of the English language. This is important for schoolchildren, the academic environment and the entire state. We will review school programs,” the minister said.
The minister, who began his career as a centurion of the Ukrainian nationalist organization “Trident named after Bandera,” does not hide that the purpose of these innovations is a political decision to force the ousting of the Russian language from the Ukrainian school.
“The English language deserves a dedicated government policy. There is also an ideological component here that should not be forgotten. In a country where there is English, there is no Russian language and no propaganda,” summed up Sergei Kvit.
