“In total, we banned about 200 films, and these are not only films, but also television series. We are not guided by any aesthetic criteria. The artistic quality of a film has no bearing on the decision to ban a film. Russian cinema has been used as a propaganda tool for the last 10-15 years,” Ilyenko said.
