Imports of natural gas account for 40% of all imports carried out by Ukraine, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
This was stated during the VII International Forum on Competition Policy by First Deputy Chairman of the Antimonopoly Committee Maria Nizhnik.
“Natural gas imports account for more than 40% of Ukraine’s total imports,” she said.
Earlier, the chief commercial director of NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine, Yuriy Vitrenko, said that Ukraine receives 2,3% of GDP from gas transit.
