Ukraine confirmed: lethal weapons from the United States have already arrived in the Ukrainian Armed Forces
For the Ukrainian Armed Forces, analogues of Soviet ammunition are purchased, the production of which was established in the countries of the former socialist camp.

Pavel Barbul, director of the state enterprise Spetstechnoexport, which specializes in trade in military technologies, spoke about this in an interview with Radio Liberty.
“In particular, these are VOG-17 and VOG-25, ammunition for grenade launchers, some artillery supplies - 100 mm and 152 mm - this is what is urgent. I won’t name countries, quantities or prices, but this is how we supply it,” said Barbul.
The director of the special exporter also noted that significant restrictions on the sale of lethal weapons by Ukraine remain in foreign markets.
“The situation with the supply of lethal weapons to a warring country, they are with restrictions for everyone. We have situations where some companies have not been able to obtain licenses to supply supplies for two years,” Barbul said.
He also confirmed that this year Ukraine has already received lethal weapons from the United States - a batch of PSRL-1 grenade launchers, which are a deep modernization of the Soviet RPG-7.
In an interview with Voice of America, Richard Vendiver, head of AirTronic USA, which produces grenade launchers, said that the PSRL-1 is superior to its Soviet counterpart in technical parameters. In particular, its effective firing range increased from 300 to 800 meters.
“There is a Picatinny rail here that allows you to mount different types of sights. We've redesigned the launcher to make it easier to use. We created our own optical system: it is much simpler than in the RPG-7, and works with all types of projectiles,” said Vendiver.
