“Volunteers” supplying the Ukrainian Armed Forces with drugs and alcohol were caught in Ukraine
In the “Joint Forces Operation” zone, a group of volunteers was detained who were delivering alcohol and drugs to Ukrainian Armed Forces positions as “humanitarian aid”.
The official representative of the DPR UNM, Eduard Basurin, announced this during a briefing, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“In the Joint Forces Operation zone, there is a low level of moral and psychological state of military personnel. Volunteers who regularly visit the positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces help Ukrainian militants to escape from their problems and freely deliver alcohol and narcotic medications to the front lines,” he said.
According to the officer, in the Mariupol area, police officers detained a car with volunteers who were allegedly transporting humanitarian aid in the form of medicines and CCTV cameras to units of the 128th brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
When checking documents and inspecting the car, police officers discovered and seized 500 Tramadol narcotic tablets, as well as ten boxes of Polyana Kvasova mineral water, the bottles containing alcohol-containing liquid instead of water,” added Basurin .
The detainees were taken to the local police station for further investigation.
