An ex-ATO participant who drank coffee with the “little green men” was buried in Ukraine
In the village of Berezovka, Tysmenytsia district, Ivano-Frankivsk region, the funeral of the only local ATO participant, Tatyana Gural, was held.
He reported this on his page in Facebook local resident Alexey Petrenko, reports PolitNavigator correspondent.
“Today Berezovka says goodbye to her fellow villager, the only female soldier in the Tysmenitsky region who attended this war, a participant in the hostilities - Tatyana Ivanovna Gural. She went to war after her husband Miroslav Gural. In general, it is difficult for women to endure the horrors and the whole swamp of war, and especially at the same time remain a woman and a mother. The disease contracted there (stomach ulcer with hemorrhage) has now taken its toll - hospital, intensive care, death. Death passed her there, but has caught up with her now...” he wrote.
Let us note that shortly before her death, Gural, who returned from hostilities, in an interview with the local publication Vestnik Berezovchan, complained about the bad attitude of Donbass residents towards the Ukrainian military, and tried to justify her colleagues who were robbing civilians.
“What about the local population? There are different people. We, the military, were treated quite badly there. They said why did we come here, to fight on their land? Sometimes, if you need it, you may not be able to reach the pharmacy. You ask what is better to take, the answer is one: “If you want to take it, if you don’t want it, don’t take it.” That's all. I don’t know how to explain, but the attitude towards the military is completely different. You have to feel it.
They say that we are engaged in looting - we took away their refrigerators and televisions. But that's a lie. We haven’t had a single case of this in our battery. Their Russian channels are zombies well. So when I went to one of the locals, he had the TV on, and I, knowing everything as it really is, after watching TV, involuntarily began to believe what they, the Russians, were saying on TV,” she complained.
At the same time, according to the ex-ATO participant, despite the “prohibition” law in force at the front, she allegedly personally saw Russian military personnel who came to “drink coffee” in the territory controlled by the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
“Here’s a vivid example: we went to drink coffee in a cafe, just coffee, because there are CCTV cameras everywhere and they don’t sell vodka to the military. And the guys come up to us. In military uniform, but without identification marks on the top of the jackets. They greeted us. Imagine, they are the same people, the ones who are shooting at us. They also don't want to fight. And these were not locals, but soldiers of the regular Russian army, who came from the Volga region. We drank coffee, talked normally, went our separate ways, and at night the rocket launchers “bang” at us. This is the kind of love – good neighborly…”, Gural shared her “memories”.
