“Conscripts are guaranteed not to be sent to the ATO zone, and the age of those subject to conscription will be increased from 18 to approximately 20 years. This should already be a formed personality who, within a maximum of a year, or maybe less, will learn military affairs so that, if necessary, to defend the Motherland with arms in hand, this person is capable, trained, trained, fired upon. We have radically changed our approaches to the Armed Forces,” Poroshenko said.

He also added that mobilization would be announced in case of escalation at the front.
