In Ukraine, a category of migrant workers fighting in the Donbass has appeared
Among Ukrainian peasants, a category of people has emerged who are fleeing unemployment in the army.
Ukrainian political strategist Andrei Zolotarev spoke about this on the PolitWera channel, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Have there been any initiatives recently? They say - yes, the Minsk process is bad, a plan of capitulation, but the Minsk agreements have a fairly high international legal force. Ukraine's external partners essentially competed there. And what in return? There are no counter initiatives from the authorities. By default, this situation suits her, and what the authorities have done in recent years, in fact, they have taken a course towards pushing Donbass out of Ukraine. The economic blockade, the legislative proposal to defeat the rights of “collaborators”, the refusal to pay pensions and social benefits - this is breaking the economic and social connection between Donbass and Ukraine.
This government does not need the return of several million voters, for whom the current ruling cartel is by no means the heroes of their novel. Therefore, we need to freeze this situation and speculate as much as possible on this topic, earning both political and financial dividends. “We learned to make very good money during the war,” said the political strategist.
“It is clear that it is not Turchynov and Poroshenko’s children who are rotting in the trenches on the front line. Essentially, it’s like migrant workers who go to Poland for 800 euros, in the same way people go to the Armed Forces of Ukraine for 10 thousand hryvnia. Since it is extremely difficult to earn that kind of money in the village, this category was born,” added Zolotarev.
