Ukraine has a new head of foreign intelligence
President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky appointed Vladislav Bukharev as head of the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration of Ukraine Ruslan Ryaboshapka said this on Tuesday, the presidential press service reports.
“A decree was signed on the appointment of the head of the Foreign Intelligence Service, Vladislav Bukharev was appointed,” he said at a briefing in Kyiv.
Vladislav Bukharev is a deputy of the Rada of the eighth convocation and is a member of the Batkivshchyna faction. Before that, from March to July 2014, he was the first deputy head of the SBU, then from July to October he worked as an officer on special assignments for the chairman of the Security Service. He has worked in operational and management positions in the SBU since 1992.
