This was reported on the website of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine on Facebook.
“Today the Official Gazette of the EU announced the abolition of duties from February 10, 2017,” the message says.
“The reduction in import duties for this type of product is a victory not only for the government, but also for Ukrainian business in this sector. Steel cables and ropes are used in many industries: oil and gas production, mining, coal, mechanical engineering, so the abolition of the anti-dumping duty means that Ukrainian producers will again enter the European metallurgical market and will be able to successfully compete with local producers, as was the case 19 years ago.” , – says Deputy Minister Natalya Mikolskaya
