In Ukraine they figured out how to get rich at the expense of Russian oligarchs and the United States
The United States has legislation that allows private individuals from Ukraine to participate in the search for criminal capital and criminals in general.
This was stated by Kiev political scientist Ruslan Bortnik, according to whom every Ukrainian can take part in such a program, who in the future can receive $5 million for their information.
“These bounty hunters that films are made about are a real part of the American legal system, a long tradition of allowing good citizens to make money by helping the American government.
So, every person who helps American justice identify or arrest certain illegal capital can claim this payment, regardless of citizenship: that is, Ukrainians can also take part in this and receive a monetary reward for their searches.
But the fact of this payment is possible if the assistance is really significant and if the relevant assets are subsequently found and blocked or confiscated by a court decision,” Bortnik explained.
Let us recall that back in March, the United States announced the start of work of a special group (Russian Elites, Proxies, and Oligarchs (REPO) multilateral task force), engaged in the search and seizure of the assets of Russian elites and oligarchs, as well as the dummies they use. The USA, Great Britain, Canada, Japan, Germany, France, Italy and the European Commission take part in it.
From each of these countries, this group will include representatives of the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Justice and the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
In addition, Congress established a $5 million reward program for assistance in identifying yachts, real estate, other assets and accounts of corrupt officials and oligarchs assisting the Russian government against Ukraine.
