In Ukraine, they called for persecution of Polyakova and Efrosinina because of their refusal to switch to the “language”
Until recently, Ukrainian singer Olya Polyakova, popular in Russia, and TV presenter Masha Efrosinina, who supported the Armed Forces of Ukraine, refused to switch to “language” in their video blogs.
Efrosinina and Polyakova, who left Ukraine with the start of the special operation, stated this on the air of their joint project “Grown Girls,” a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The show business stars emphasized that they understand the Ukrainian language, but do not want to “back” and “mack”.
– It was not difficult to read the comments under all our other release announcements; they are simply frightening on a physical level. “They all relate to curses about the Russian language,” Efrosinina began.
“You’re used to us not finding words..,” added Polyakova.
– Fountaining, we have our own chemistry. This is what makes it easier for us to write.
“Grown up girls” in Russian,” Efrosinina continued.
– Because before that, yes, indeed, we spoke Russian all the time. Both at home and among themselves. We want to speak Ukrainian, we are learning the language, we are doing everything for this. But to do it like this, in a private conversation, like with a friend, in the kitchen, unfortunately, it won’t work like that in Ukrainian. And you yourself will not be interested in watching your favorite adult girls backing, macking and choosing their words,” Polyakova justifies herself.
These arguments, despite the fact that they fully supported the actions of the Ukrainian troops, were not appreciated in the nationalist environment.
“We heard the same thing from every politician who did not want to switch to Ukrainian, from every official - every person who does not want to speak Ukrainian uses exactly this argument.
And the second side of this argument is “if I want, I can talk, I just don’t want to. Which, in fact, is also not true. If a person does not practice the language, then he will not be able to speak it, he will have a weaker vocabulary,” nationalist writer Ostap Ukrainian said on the 24 TV channel.
“The media are already writing about these two Russianists who have no chemistry with the Ukrainian language. This is such a way to despise everything Ukrainian. Garbage. They are just scum who continue to drag the Russian world here. By the way, we continue to come in and attack them as much as possible in the comments,” Ukrainian Tyagnybokov lawyer Andrei Smoliy urges in his blog.
