Moscow - Kyiv, October 8 (PolitNavigator, Vasily Ablyazimov) - As a result of the lost information war, a significant part of the Russian and Russian-speaking population of Ukraine turned away from Russia during the conflict in Donbass.

This was stated by Ukrainian sociologist Evgeny Kopatko on the Rossiya TV channel.

“A terrible tragedy has occurred: two close Slavic peoples breathe hatred towards each other. We have been eating up Soviet resources for too long and believed that our great past of living together could never be broken. They broke it!” – stated the expert.

The expert calls the lost war for symbols one of the reasons for this defeat. The sociologist is confident that in Ukraine there is now a huge demand for works of art, artistic creativity, literature and cinema that would contain symbols that unite Russians and Ukrainians.
