Russia will be able to return the historical lands of Novorossiya only at the cost of gigantic losses - motivated militants are concentrated in Mariupol and Nikolaev, ready for a long, bloody defense.
Denis Sheler, a Croatian citizen of Ukrainian origin, a participant in the punitive operation in Donbass, stated this on the Internet channel “In Two Words,” PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to Scheler, the Russian President will not dare to support such an offensive.

These are the guys waiting for him there.
The same question - to take a city with a population of half a million - is he ready to lose fifty to one hundred thousand units of soldiers and equipment there? We are not talking about Donbass, where five or six died and ten were captured. Are you ready to answer there, in Russia, for fifty to one hundred thousand dead and wounded near Mariupol alone?
And we will continue to look - Kramatorsk and so on. Kharkov, for example. Will you go to Nikolaev? Yes, the 79th (separate air assault brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine - author) and the 36th (separate marine brigade) will meet you. Are you ready to lose there, already at sea, several thousand ships, lives, and so on? I don’t think he’s ready,” Scheler said.
