Kiev
The Ukrainian “prosecutor's office of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea” sent to the Shevchenkovsky District Court of Kyiv an indictment against an employee of the Kiy Avia company, which sold air tickets for flights from Simferopol.
The woman is accused of committing a criminal offense under Part 2 of Art. 332 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (illegal transportation of persons across the state border), the press service of the department reported, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“It was established that a citizen of Ukraine, while in the specified position, in violation of the legislation regulating relations in the field of air transportation and crossing the state border, sold air tickets from different cities of the Russian Federation to the temporarily closed airport “Simferopol” and in the opposite direction, thus providing means for the illegal transportation of persons across the state border of Ukraine,” the prosecutor’s office reports.
