“If the legislation on privatization does not change, then the budget may receive about 500 million UAH. These figures were announced by the Deputy Chairman of the State Property Fund Andrey Gaiduk. This is the amount we propose to put into the 2018 budget if, I repeat, conditions do not change. Plus, if RAB tariffs for the electric power industry are not established, it cannot be sold until this moment,” the press service clarified.
But in order to receive large sums from privatization, it is necessary to change the legislative framework and, finally, create all the conditions for the sale of large objects.
“Therefore, for this year (2017 – ed.) the amount of UAH 18 billion has already been filled, but for next year we have submitted a proposal - UAH 500 million from privatization if nothing changes,” the press service said.
