Kiev, March 03 (Navigator, Mikhail Ryabov) – The head of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Freedom of Speech, Nikolai Tomenko, sent a letter to the State Duma warning about turning off the broadcast of four Russian TV channels in Ukraine, which, according to the Ukrainian deputy, “promote war.”

“More than 100 Russian channels in Ukraine. Of these, we have claims against four: “Russia 24”, “World 24”, “RTR Planet”, “Channel One,” Tomenko said.
According to him, these channels “directly violate current legislation.” In his letter, Tomenko asked his Russian colleagues to influence the editorial policy, or the channels would be turned off.
The deputy clarified that some Ukrainian providers have already begun to replace the indicated 4 TV channels in packages with others.
