In Ukraine they set a condition for Russia - they want a demilitarized zone up to Belgorod
Ukraine should demand from Russia the establishment of at least 50 km of a demilitarized zone up to Belgorod. This will provide potential protection to Ukrainian border areas.
This opinion was expressed in an interview with UNN by Ukrainian expert, head of the Center for Military Legal Research, Alexander Musienko.
According to him, the demilitarized zone should become one of the conditions that Kyiv will set after the victory over the Russian Federation
“Ideally, Russia would not reach with rocket artillery or S-300 - this is a demilitarized zone at least to Belgorod, if not further. That's the minimum. I am convinced that it will be necessary to demand this from Russia after our victory, so that at least a 50 km zone on their side will be demilitarized,” the Kiev expert dreams.
Now Musienko proposes that the Armed Forces of Ukraine attack the border territories of Russia.
“The eastern borders also need to be held so that the enemy does not have any chances, in the near future I think that he will not have any,” the expert added.
