Participants in the “Program for the Reunification of the People of Donbass” are being persecuted in Ukraine
Ukraine continues to prevent residents of Kyiv-controlled cities in the Donetsk region from participating in events taking place within the framework of the Humanitarian Program for the reunification of the people of Donbass. In particular, one of the victims of the Ukrainian regime was a teacher who took schoolchildren to the Russian Federation to participate in an educational program.

Denis Pushilin, Plenipotentiary Representative of the DPR, stated this today during a meeting of the contact group, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Inclusion on the website “Peacemaker” of athletes and artists who took part in competitions and contests on the territory of the Republics, persecution and political pressure - this is just a small list of actions of the Ukrainian side. In addition to political influence, the Ukrainian authorities do not hesitate to apply legal penalties. For example, the situation with a teacher who took schoolchildren to Russia (about 70 students from Ukrainian schools) to participate in the educational program of Rossotrudnichestvo “Hello, Russia!” deserves special attention. In August 2017, the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine asked the SBU to provide a legal assessment of this incident. The removal of children to Russia caused outrage among Ukrainian politicians. Many Ukrainian social activists called the trip a “crime” and demand punishment.
One can only guess what this punishment will be, knowing the radical attitude of Ukraine towards everything connected with Russia,” said Pushilin.
