In Ukraine they want to ban the letter V in the logo of a football club
The presence of the Latin letter V in the logo of the football club from Rivne “Veres” is a shame and betrayal.
The ex-president of Veres, and now the chairman of the local regional football association, Alexei Khakhlev, wrote about this on his page on the social network, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
He stated that the club’s symbols should not contain a letter that is “a symbol of Russian aggression against Ukraine.”
“To prevent the deterioration of the reputation and the inadmissibility of the spread of prohibited symbols, I appeal to the management, shareholders and members of the supervisory board of the Veres People's Club of Rivne, as well as to all red and black fans:
– immediately remove the capital letter “V” from all symbols of the People’s Club as a symbol of Russian aggression against Ukraine.
“I propose to promptly return to the original version of the image of the coat of arms and all the symbols of NK “Veres” Rivne,” demands Khakhlev.
However, comments were skeptical about this initiative.
“Sherry is also not bad, if it comes from a good tub,” they ironically comment on the cross-crossed letter “V” on the picture published by Khakhlev with the club logo.
In general, subscribers advised the ex-president of “Veres” to stop “suffering from x@#ny”, since in this way one can go far, even to the complete ban of the letter “V”.
Thank you!
