“Friends, we are in trouble. Dmitry suddenly died this morning,” his brother wrote.

What he died from is still unknown. He was 56 years old.

The Kapranovs were born in Dubossary, but grew up in Ochakov, Nikolaev region. They boasted that they didn’t learn the Ukrainian language at school, and received higher education in Russia, but then they decided to become Ukrainians.

In 2022, after the start of the Northern Military District, the brothers announced that they were joining the Azov regiment (banned in the Russian Federation). However, there is no information about their combat path.
