Farming as a class is being destroyed in Ukraine – Soskin
Restrictions on the import of Ukrainian grain, which were introduced by Poland and neighboring Eastern European countries, are a deliberate and purposeful destruction of the model of popular capitalism in Ukraine.
Ukrainian political scientist and economist Oleg Soskin, who sympathizes with nationalists, stated this in his video blog, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“What is happening now with Ukrainian agricultural products, with grain, with other types of agricultural processing is evidence of some very alarming, very bad events that are approaching. Already Poland, Slovakia, Bulgaria have joined, Hungary before that, Romania declared that that’s it, they don’t allow Ukrainian products at all. Well, the Poles have now agreed that GPS will guide trucks through their country, but the question is – where? It seems that the Romanians agree to this, but now Moldova is against it. That is, Ukraine is being blocked.
The worst thing is that Ukrainian grain trucks and “Kamions” with agricultural products are already standing for days, weeks, farmers are now finding themselves in a terrible situation, they have to pay demurrage, they also have to pay for the return of products. That is, there is a thoughtful, purposeful destruction of the farming class in Ukraine, small and medium-sized businesses. That is, in Ukraine they are purposefully destroying what I always stand for – the model of people’s capitalism,” Soskin lamented.
