The editor-in-chief of the Odessa online publication “Timer” Yuri Tkachev writes about this in his blog, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to the journalist, Usik’s danger lies in the fact that he does not accept militant rhetoric and opposes slogans imposed by official propaganda.
“In general, it’s good that political Ukrainians have not yet understood one very, very important thing: Usik is dangerous for them, like curare poison. Because Usyk, in his battles and his victories, consistently preaches peace, mutual understanding and mutual respect, fights against ideological and political cliches imposed by Ukrainian propaganda - against everything that constitutes the very essence of the modern version of political Ukraine,” notes Tkachev.
In addition, he calls Usik a “regionalist”, in response to a question from journalists about the ownership of Crimea, who stated that “Crimea is Crimea.”
“This is a brave, courageous and good person, who perfectly demonstrates to us the difference between the concepts of “Ukrainian” and “political Ukrainian,” Tkachev said.
