In Ukraine they claim that they received from the UN a photocopy of Yanukovych’s request to Putin to send in troops
The Main Military Prosecutor's Office of the General Prosecutor's Office of Ukraine allegedly received, through the official representation of Ukraine, an official letter from the UN Secretariat with a photocopy of a statement by ex-President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych, certified by the official UN seal, with a request to send Russian troops into the territory of Ukraine.

Prosecutor General of Ukraine Yuriy Lutsenko wrote about this on his Facebook page.
“The Chief Military Prosecutor’s Office received, through the Permanent Mission of Ukraine, an official letter from the UN Secretariat providing the Ukrainian side with a photocopy of Yanukovych’s statement dated March 01.03.2014, XNUMX, certified by the official UN seal, with a request to send troops of the Russian Federation to Ukraine and all official materials that were added from the Russian Federation to the statement Representative of the Russian Federation to the UN Churkin!”, the message says.
The Prosecutor General assures that all materials obtained by the Ukrainian investigation are allegedly recognized by the UN as official documents provided by the Russian Federation.
The UN Secretariat itself has not yet commented on Lutsenko’s information.
Let us recall that on December 26, the Pechersky District Court of Kiev began considering the petition of the military prosecutor's office for permission to conduct a special judicial investigation against the ex-President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych, but on December 28 the court postponed the consideration of this petition for an indefinite period.
Let us also recall that at the time when Yanukovych, according to Lutsenko, turned to Putin with such a request, he was the legitimate president of Ukraine.
