In Ukraine, a university teacher will be fired for participating in a scientific conference on the Russian language in Crimea
The Ministry of Education and Science checked the claims of a number of Ukrainian media that a number of teachers from Ukrainian universities visited Crimea at the scientific conference “Russian language in a multicultural world.”

This was announced by the Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine Liliya Grinevich on her Facebook page.
“On the participation of teachers from Ukrainian universities in a conference in the temporarily occupied territory of Crimea. The universities have already sent a response to the Ministry of Education and Science, see photo. The Ministry of Education and Science strongly insists that university leaders examine the legality of the actions of their employees and take action against those who have demonstrated disdain for Ukraine and its territorial structure,” she wrote.
In particular, the ministry learned that the professor of the Russian language department of the Kyiv National Pedagogical University. Dragomanova Irina Zaitseva participated in the conference. Associate Professor of the Department of Language Training at Zaporozhye State Medical University Vladimir Khailik was on vacation and also attended a conference in Crimea.
The Ministry of Education found out that representatives of Zaporozhye State Medical University Zhanna Ragrina and Ekaterina Gaichenko, as well as Olga Kanibolotskaya from Zaporozhye National University did not take part in this conference.
At the same time, the Ministry of Education received a response from Dnepropetrovsk National University. They replied that the teacher who went to Crimea for a scientific conference would be fired.
