“Hot autumn” has already begun in Ukraine – political scientist
In Ukraine, conditions are ripe for a perfect socio-economic storm, the beginning of which can already be observed today.
Political scientist Andrei Zolotarev stated this on the UkrLife Internet channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to the expert, the population of Ukraine can no longer cope with high tariffs and the economic situation in the country.
“That same “hot autumn” - it has already begun and everything will only grow in the future. The only question is what form this will take, because the problems that I spoke about still remain. And the question of energy, will we have electricity and gas? They assure us that we will, but energy experts are not so optimistic. It is clear that there is a certain bias there, but the situation is such that Moldova is already buying gas for $780. Neither our nor the Moldovan economy, nor ours nor the Moldovan consumer will be able to bear such a price. And the current price level is not affordable for everyone; the debt for utilities is growing, reaching one hundred billion,” the expert said.
“That is, the socio-economic issue, that same “perfect storm”, it can happen. That is, the risk is quite high. But so far it all started with a political regrouping, a congress was held in Truskavets, where the president forced the deputies to exhibit exemplary behavior. Around mid-September, I said that the president has about 180 deputies who are sensitive to Bankova’s position. The rest are idlers and all kinds of oppositionists, focused on the interests of their fathers, the owners, the offended, and so on,” Zolotarev said.
