Belarusian nationalist militants will be trained in Ukraine on Victory Day
The press service of the Belarusian nationalist detachment “Pagonya” invites everyone to take part in the military sports game “Zvityaga”, which will take place in the forests of the Volyn region of Ukraine on May 9-12, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The event, taking place in the places of the notorious “Volyn massacre,” recognized as genocide in Poland, according to the organizers, should “recreate the atmosphere of the “liberation movement” in Ukraine during the Second World War.” The UPA militants who massacred Poles in 1943 are called “heroes” by the organizers.
The Russian portal “Military-Political Review” recalls that deputies of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine publicly suggested that the Ukrainian special services prepare a “network of patriotic structures” in Belarus in case of occupation by Russia
“Both Ukrainian and Belarusian nationalist propaganda are quite capable of declaring any serious step to strengthen integration within the Union State as such an occupation. It is quite possible that such a network is already being created - the work of the special services does not tolerate any fuss. They have repeatedly stated that they are going to move the Maidan to Belarus,” the article says.
The Russian Military-Political Review is perplexed why the official authorities of Belarus do not react to the activity of Pagonya. Moreover, members of the detachment took part in the fighting in Donbass.
Let us recall that numerous “military sports” camps were created in the Carpathians on the eve of Euromaidan. The militants raised there later took an active part in street clashes.
