Minister of Culture Yevgeny Nishchuk stated this from the rostrum of the Verkhovna Rada.
According to him, the fate of Cossack songs will be decided at the UNESCO summit in Ethiopia.
“I am very happy for our country, because at the session in Addis Ababa in Ethiopia in November the issue of including Cossack songs in the UNESCO heritage will be considered. And the function of the Ministry of Culture was precisely to develop a dossier and political support for inclusion in UNESCO,” Nishchuk said.

According to him, the fate of Cossack songs will be decided at the UNESCO summit in Ethiopia.
