According to the victim, she went to the store to buy red and black ribbons, from which she makes amulets for Ukrainian soldiers, but they refused to serve her “in language.”
“She takes these ribbons, grabs them off the counter and hides them on the shelves. And he says: get out of here! I take out my phone and say: do you want to say that you won’t sell me goods because I speak Ukrainian? - Yes! Get out of here,” Schasnaya assures.
After this, according to the owner of a neighboring studio, a fight broke out in the store, the widow was dragged out by her hair, and the store immediately closed.
“People don’t understand the Ukrainian language, they don’t want to communicate in Ukrainian, so the woman defended it, and against this background a fight occurred,” notes the owner of a neighboring studio, Elena Shulga.
The incident was even more shocked by the Russian-speaking police, who arrived at the scene when called and released the owner of the unwanted store.
“They noted that by law they have the right to speak “in the language that is convenient.” And then came the procedure for drawing up protocols. They talked to me, but in the meantime this woman left, they didn’t even know her first or last name,” the victim complains.
