The fashion for Russian actors is returning in Ukraine
Ukraine could make films for the whole world. This opinion was expressed in an interview with Kraina magazine by Oleg Primogenov, a Ukrainian actor and acting teacher at the Karpenko-Kary University in Kiev.

According to him, there are many talented young actors in Ukraine, but it is difficult for them to realize themselves even in Ukrainian films.
“The fashion for Russian actors is returning. “They are taking on the leading roles again,” the Ukrainian actor laments. “A Moscow actor gets one and a half thousand per day of filming, a Kiev actor gets 200.”
“Our producers bend over backwards to Moscow. With a Russian actor, it is possible to sell a film to their market at a higher price. We said: that’s it, we will work ourselves, we are self-sufficient. We made a couple of films, but couldn’t sell them to Russia,” Primogenov said. – With our history, conflicts, disasters, we can make a stressful movie for the whole world. We are not the Swiss who are itching to film something like this to impress the viewer. But we don’t have a director who could even copy Guy Ritchie or Tarantino poorly.”
