In Ukraine, no one cares about Saakashvili – Rada deputy from Galicia
No one in Ukraine cares about the fate of the former president of Georgia Mikhail Saakashvili – the people of “Nezalezhnaya” are thinking about how to survive the winter with huge tariffs.
Verkhovna Rada deputy Dmitry Bakunets stated this on the Ukraine 24 TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The whole country is doing nothing during these six days of Saakashvili’s hunger strike, they are only thinking – from a small village to the highest government offices: “How can he be freed”...
I absolutely disagree with this idea; no one in our country cares about it. My voters in the Lviv region are interested in gas tariffs. They are interested in when teachers’ salaries will be paid, for which the debt is still last year.
There are problems that are on the agenda, the heating season is already in a week, and many cities are not ready for this - or are not yet ready rates. People are thinking about how they can live and pay for heating in the winter, and not about Saakashvili,” Bakunets emphasized.
Let us recall that earlier in Kyiv they said that in the future even those European countries that declare support for Kyiv in the energy sector will buy Russian gas, transported via pipelines that bypass Ukraine.
