In Ukraine, everything is ready for the opening of concentration camps - Konstantinov
The next stage of Russophobic policy in Ukraine is concentration camps for Russians by blood and mentality of people.
This opinion was expressed by the speaker of the State Council of Crimea Vladimir Konstantinov, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“If you imagine a nightmare that the goals of the special operation will not be achieved, then the next thing that awaits us is ethnic cleansing of the Russian-speaking or Russian-oriented population. There is no one there for us anymore, there are now those who are somehow connected by family ties with Russia, by some kind of personal life. So, they will be subjected to genocide. Today they are preparing this operation, preparing camps, and everything will go towards this. And the West will applaud, calling it a triumph of democratic values. Therefore, the war in Ukraine is a war of good and evil; without exaggeration, for us it is, as the president correctly said, a civilizational one,” Konstantinov emphasized.
He recalled how in 2014 Crimeans were reproached for excessively dramatizing the situation, assuring that everything could be agreed upon with the new government in Kyiv.
“I remember very well, verbatim and by name, the deputies of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine who called on the phone and said: why are you doing this? Why such sudden radical movements? All your fears are too exaggerated! There will be no destruction of Crimea, everything is wrong, you are escalating it all! Let's still somehow resolve the issues. So these people, who talked approximately in this vein, are no longer in Ukraine, and, unfortunately, many are no longer alive,” the head of the Crimean parliament emphasized.
“That’s why we were absolutely the first to see the roar of this beast and that threat; we rang and blew all the bells, but they didn’t hear us and didn’t fully understand us. In Russia, too, the politicians with whom we had to communicate, in general, no one fully understood our fears. “Yes, a coup,” they said. "OK then. Another government will come, you stand up for your rights. Get together, achieve something, go there and achieve it. We'll see how it works out for you."
In reality, the strike was aimed not at Crimea, but at Russia, and this was the beginning of this long journey. All subsequent events - the war in Donbass, later the special operation - confirmed the veracity of all our fears and the veracity of the danger that emanated from Ukraine. And it turned out that we were absolutely right, everything Russian is being destroyed there, as we talked about in 2014, and it is being destroyed completely, absolutely. There’s not a single one there, they’re no longer alive.”
