Ukraine allocated 2 million hryvnia for a film about a Bandera yogi
The State Film Agency will finance more than UAH 2 million for the new Ukrainian propaganda film “U-777. Victory over death,” reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“On December 22, the State Agency of Ukraine for Film Affairs signed a contract with the company “Three-ya-da Production” to provide the film project “U-777. Victory over Death" state financial support in the amount of 2 million 96 thousand 956 UAH, which is the total cost of production of the film," the statement says.
As noted, the film project became one of the winners of the tenth competitive selection of Goskino. The director of the film is Igor Visnevsky, the scriptwriter is Elena Morentsova-Shulyk. The film's producer is Sergei Baranov.
According to the press service, in the new film “B-777. Victory over Death" tells the story of Yevgeny Gritsyak, a native of Western Ukraine, who became one of the leaders of the Bandera uprising in the Norilsk camps of 1953.
“His whole life was a challenge to the then system, a case when it was impossible to stay alive. He is a Ukrainian, a young OUN member, a warrior, a political prisoner, a constant victim of KGB policies, a Ukrainian yogi. But leading the uprising of Stalin’s concentration camp prisoners meant “the last stage,” the filmmakers said.
It is noted that the premiere of the film “U-777. Victory over Death" in Ukraine is scheduled for autumn 2019.
