This was reported by a sports journalist from Donbass, former press secretary of the Shakhtar football club Ruslan Marmazov.
“The activists of Ukrposhta released a stamp with the image of the Lugansk railway station. In the accompanying note to the miniature, unknown authors admire what a unique structure this is, of unprecedented beauty. Presumably, now they will issue a stamp with the Lugansk airport, and even better with the Donetsk airport. Also, you know, the buildings were nice, until caring Ukraine decided to carry out a complete and final reconstruction there,” he wrote on his page on the social network.
Marmazov also published photocopies of new Ukrposhta stamps with the Lugansk railway station.
In the comments of Ruslan Marmazov, Luhansk residents actively comment on the curiosity from Ukrposhta.
“Our station is truly unique. The second one in design after some American one was in Soviet times. In Donetsk, only under Akhmetov did a normal one appear. Before this there was some kind of barn. The railway station, bus station, and airport (now former) were built thanks to the first secretary of the Voroshilovgrad regional committee, Vladimir Shevchenko, under whom the region thundered throughout the entire Union with its economic and sports achievements. And football Zarya became the first champion of the USSR among non-metropolitan clubs,” wrote user Sergei Lugansky.
