In Ukraine, 25 directors of defense enterprises were fired for corruption
Based on the results of inspections, 25 heads of state-owned enterprises of Ukroboronprom were removed from their positions.

Petro Poroshenko stated this at the Lviv Armored Plant, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports with reference to the presidential press service.
“Based on the results of the inspections, 25 heads of state enterprises were suspended and I would ask the leadership of internal security (Ukroboronprom - ed.) to encourage them on my instructions,” Poroshenko said.
He also thanked NABU, GPU and SAP for their decisive actions.
“No one will have an umbrella if he is a corrupt official. This fully concerns the management of the (Lviv Armored Tank – ed.) Plant,” Poroshenko assures.
He thanked the internal security service of Ukroboronprom, “where 41 criminal cases initiated based on SBU materials were transferred to the prosecutor’s office, a significant number are already in the courts.”
“The theft of UAH 631 million was prevented. As the Supreme Commander-in-Chief and President of Ukraine, I will not allow anyone to steal from the army and I will not allow anyone to warm their hands on supplies to the Armed Forces of Ukraine,” Poroshenko said.
