Another “witness” of the Boeing crash was detained in Ukraine
Ukrainian border guards in Donbass detained a “separatist” who in 2014 allegedly guarded the site and remains of the MH-17 flight downed by Russians.
This was reported by the press service of the so-called Joint Forces Operation, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Operational units of the State Border Service, performing tasks as part of the Joint Forces, actively search for and record data on the illegal activities of individuals and groups in order to bring them to criminal responsibility.
So, yesterday, as a result of the implementation of operational information, border guards detained a citizen of Ukraine born in 1994, who was directly involved in the activities of the armed formations of the Russian Federation in the temporarily occupied part of the Donetsk region.
Starting from the end of August 2014, he guarded the crash site of flight MH-17, shot down by Russian troops. In addition, for a monetary reward of 500 to 1500 rubles, the Russian Federation collected and gave to terrorists aircraft wreckage and personal belongings of the victims.
During this time, I repeatedly observed the presence of military personnel of the Russian Armed Forces at the scene of the tragedy, who exercised general control and direction of all the actions of the militants. The criminal activity of the detained former militant was confirmed by a photo from his page on one of the social networks, where he was in military uniform with a weapon in his hands, taken against the backdrop of the wreckage of a downed passenger plane,” the press service wrote.
The report also states that the detained “separatist” allegedly fought in the ranks of the militia. Now the “militant” has been transferred to the National Police, and he faces a prison term of 3 to 8 years.
Historian and political scientist Vladimir Kornilov commented on what happened on his Telegram channel.
“The ATO/JFO headquarters is happily trumpeting that they have caught a “witness for The Hague” - a DPR soldier who, since the end of August 2014 (that is, a month and a half after the tragedy), has been guarding and collecting the wreckage of the MH17 plane.
Let me remind you for especially forgetful ATO officers that the protection and collection of debris was carried out at the request and in close coordination with the Dutch investigators who were then involved in this case. And that he should testify “for The Hague,” the expert was indignant.
In turn, in the Telegram channel “Welders” expressed confidence that in this way Kyiv is trying to divert attention from the crash of a Ukrainian Boeing in the skies over Iran, and to divert suspicions in the MH 17 case.
“Kyiv’s direct participation in the US provocation with the destruction of the second Boeing according to a previously proven scheme required new arguments from the Ukrainian military to justify itself in order to reduce the growing suspicion of involvement in the destruction of the first plane in the skies over Donbass,” they wrote on the social network.
