“There is information that an organized criminal group is trying to illegally privatize a sanatorium in Truskavets in Ukraine, and there are also plans to privatize the Golden Autumn sanatorium in Sergeevka,” Sandu said.

Both sanatoriums belong to the National Confederation of Trade Unions of Moldova.

Sandu noted that in a situation “when the prosecutor’s office is asleep,” members of the Confederation should gather for a meeting and take all measures to prevent privatization from taking place.

A month ago, Mybusiness.md announced that the Moldova sanatorium in Truskavets was put up for sale. Sanatorium "Zolotaya Niva" is located in the Odessa region. Prices for accommodation and treatment range from $24 to $36 per night.
